It covers places like Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, Darjeeling, Mirik, Jalpaiguri, Tufanganj, Siliguri, Dooars, Maynaguri, Kalimpong, Dhupguri, Kurseong etc.
From all these places, we will explore some specific tourist spots, such as :
1) Bindu : It is the most recommended place of Dooars region. Scenic beauty of river Jaldhaka and the Indo-Bhutan border creates a spark. This place is famous for Chapramari forest and Cardamom plantation. The three rivers which coordinates with Bindu are Jaldhaka, Bindu Khola, Dudh Pokhri. 2) Jhalong : A charming townlet on the way to Jaldhaka River and Bindu, known as Jhalong. Main attractive point of this place is the hydro electric project. 3) Latpanchar : It is an astonishing place for the nature lovers. This place is totally free from the city's crowded place. It is located on the core part of Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. Local places to visit near Latpanchar are Raja Rani Hill, Latkothi, Ahal Dara Viewpoint.
4) Paren : This place is surrounded with alpine forest, zigzagging river, mountains, villages and agricultural lands, in the land of Dooars. Trekking lovers can spend some time in Rachella Pass through Lava and Alubari, also via the border of Bhutan, Bengal, and Sikkim. It is a promising land for the botany lovers which is prospered by medicinal plants.
5) Baiguney : It is a newly invented hill station in Sikkim. Tourist can explore with Rangeet River's beauty, Himalayan birds, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Museum. Visitors are allowed to participate in different adventurous activities like white water rafting, trekking, camping, hiking in Baiguney hill station. Nearby destinations in Baiguney is Akar Suspension Bridge, Lord Shiva's temple, Sisney Rock Garden.
6) Chopta Valley : Famous to be known for the valley of flowers situated on Gurudongmar Lake. During winter season, Chopta Valley is covered with snow while in spring season the valley is concealed with Rhododendron flowers. It is a suitable place for trekking. Some places to visit while exploring Chopta Valley is Tso Lhamo Lake, Lachen Monastery, Thangu Valley.
7) Rinchenpong : It is a historical place symbolises the battle held between King Chogyal and the British forces. During the battle, the lake was poisoned and the event is known as "Bikhpokhri". An idol of Ati Buddha is located in Yub-Yum position.
